  1. The scene outside my hotel. At at about 6:00 they gathered in the middle of this very busy street, stopping traffic. They said not a word, just stood there about fifteen minutes. They are protesting the government’s austerity policy. Tomorrow there is a general strike in Spain. So basically, we are going to be doing nothing that involves trying to get anywhere farther than a few blocks away from here. Which means I will spend a good portion of tomorrow shooting demonstration photos, I suppose.  I do love a good protest.
