open areas

  1. I have to work today.
    I am one of seven people who will be working in a 40 person office today.
    I am probably not going to be able to take lunch today.
    I am going to basically be by myself handling the public today.
    I have ahead of me ten hours of running, yelling, frustration, craziness, etc.
    I said I would never work retail again but being a civil servant whose job it is to help the public is kind of like retail.
    I will be drinking lots of beer tonight. 

    Oh, I will be posting my first Forbes column today. I’ll link to it this afternoon. I am nervous.
