  1. ☛ Today from me at Forbes, 1500 words on Saturday Night Fever, 1977 and the intersection of punk and disco.

    Ok. Remember my crisis of faith about writing long form over writing for page views? Well, I want to convince Forbes that posting more stuff like this is worth it. So now more than ever I would appreciate clicks and tweets and reblogs and whatever so when my editors ask why I’m writing long ass shit I can point to the page views and convince them people want to read it. 

    This has been a beg.
