Revisiting Monster. It’s not one of my favorite REM albums but it’s got a few awesome songs on it, my favorite being this one.
I think I’m going to spend the day wallowing in the REM catalog, go back to the perfection of Murmur and Reckoning, the beauty of Fables, the way Life’s Rich Pageant still makes me swoon, my love/hate relationship with Document, the absolute delight of Green, skip over Out of Time, put on Automatic for the People just for Nightswimming and Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight, listen to Monster again just for Crush with Eyeliner and then pretend the rest never happened.
She’s a sad tomato.
